Three students of Satya Special School--Hemapriyan, Sharath, and Kamlesh–are starting as staff of Writers Cafe, Pondicherry. They will undergo training, after which they will work at the cafe full time.

The students have already started working the tables at the cafe and are enjoying themselves.

"We are so excited about the uniforms," said Sharath, as he got ready after he reached the cafe. The youth are working in the kitchen and are also exploring being wait staff.

Advantage Foods Ltd. in general and Writer's Cafe in particular has been leading the way in inclusion of people with disabilities, under the leadership of "Hot Breads" Mahadevan.

Parents, too, are thankful for the opportunity.
